The Doing was founded in 2007 by Ivon Alcime, the principal mediator for the company. Ivon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and a Master's Degree in Organization Communication, both from Howard University. He has also undergone training for Collaboration Mediation at Western Connecticut State University with the Connecticut Counseling Association (CCA) and the WCSU Center.
